Inverclyde TV Launched
Inverclyde TV was today launched by MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil.  Created by Prime Space TV, Inverclyde TV broadcasts into a number of libraries in the area and on the internet (www.inverclyde.tv).

Unveiling the system was Duncan McNeil MSP who, along with many local organisations and the council, is broadcasting on this community messaging system.  He is the first MSP to broadcast on a Prime Space TV channel.

Inverclyde TV broadcasts up to the minute news, weather and sports information alongside informative messages from local organisations.   If you watch on the internet (which is also free in the libraries) you can freely subscribe to receive updates as they happen.  Podcasts of local content and national messages can be downloaded for viewing on the move.

Riverside Inverclyde are currently using Inverclyde TV to keep all residents up to date with the regeneration activity taking place.  Last year, Duncan McNeil launched the Poppy Scotland campaign which was simultaneously broadcast across Prime Space TV’s Scottish network.

Speaking at the launch, Prime Space TV Director, Richard Offord, said:

“We are proud to be involved with the launch of Inverclyde TV.  There is so much going on in the local area and we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to stay up to date with all the developments and services available.”

Mr McNeil added:

“It is the job of politicians to be accessible to those we represent – whether on the street, on the phone, or online.  Inverclyde TV is the latest way in which my constituents can find out what I am doing on their behalf, the latest news from the Scottish Parliament and how to contact me directly.  It’s a great way of staying in touch and I’m delighted to be the first MSP to be working with a Prime Space TV channel.

For more information and to access the network call Prime Space TV on 01355 813600 or log on to www.prime-space.com.
