Comments on Ministerial Reshuffle
Commenting
on today’s ministerial reshuffle, MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde, Duncan
McNeil, said:
“As
I said in Parliament last week, just changing the Minister isn’t going to make
the problems facing the NHS magically disappear.
Andy Kerr will still have the same challenges to address as his
predecessor.
“But
he is a tough minister with a track record of taking on vested interests –
qualities which are vital in any Minister charged with the stewardship of our
NHS – and I will certainly be seeking to meet with him shortly.”
