McNeil Comments on Ferguson’s Unsuccessful Cal Mac Tender
Commenting on Ferguson Shipbuilders’ unsuccessful tender for an order from Caledonian MacBrayne, MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, said:

"While Ferguson’s is outwith my constituency, I do represent constituents who work at the yard.

"I have therefore spoken to the Shop Steward, Colin McKenzie, indicating my willingness to attend any meeting to which he and the local MSP, Trish Godman, wish to invite me.

"It is important to understand why Ferguson’s was unsuccessful on this occasion and how it can be better placed to secure future orders."
