Morton Deal "Second Great Victory in 4 Days" - McNeil
MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, has welcomed the deal between Morton’s Administrators and a local consortium to sell the Cappielow club.
"This is Morton’s second great victory in 4 days," Mr McNeil said today.
He continued:
"This campaign has gone from the streets of the town to the floor of the Scottish Parliament. The work which has been put in throughout by supporters, local businesses and the whole community certainly deserved the right result.
"The efforts of the new owners and supporters to overcome the considerable difficulties they have faced deserve continued support."
