McNeil Opens Carousel Nursery
MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde,
Duncan McNeil, today opened the new Carousel Nursery, in the
Coach House, Patrick Street, Greenock.
Speaking at the opening ceremony he said:
"Although these days I am unlikely to require their services, I am nonetheless delighted to open this nursery today.
"A good nursery is important to children and to their parents. Children’s early years development can be improved through the activities and educational opportunities on offer and, to their hardworking parents, ready access to quality childcare can be the difference between having to give up their job and continuing in work.
"It’s good news, then, that every
3 year old in Greenock and Inverclyde now has access to a nursery
place."
